Noticed my livewell was leaking today. Thought it was a hose but instead it’s the livewell itself. Lots of little holes and one bigger one somewhere. The livewell is fiberglass. Anyone know a good fix for this?

Gorilla tape? It works on the infomercials.
maybe Flex tape? I've used it for other stuff, seams to adhere pretty good
put it on both sides if possible?

to do it right epoxy or fiberglass the live well back together
Certainly a thinned application of epoxy to a very dry and prepped livewell would seal the open pores. As long a you do not allow the epoxy to loose it's tackiness you can repeat with tinted epoxy to build up some integrity to the leaking gelcoat. Epoxy has a 3000psi Adhesion where Gelcoat is less than 300psi so it will stay where you put it. Do not apply if any solvent residue, oils, etc are present though.
I got it figured out. I was being a complete dunce about the whole thing. Thanks for all the info.

I may not wanna do it to my boat unless I really had to, but something that I am sure a lot of people don't know about. It works on fixing other stuff that I had break and wanted a strong fix. The trick is super glue and backing soda. That stuff can do wonders. If you do a search on YouTube you will see the wonders that it does.
