Your first job with a 401K, start putting 20% from day one.

Only debt to take on is a mortgage

Lord loves a workin' man; don't trust whitey; see a doctor and get rid of it.

Live every day to the fullest. Living in the moment not sure I would take the advice you are giving out. Your desire to meet your current goals outweighs your future desires plus there is no promise of tomorrow.

A good litmus test to see if you would do it differently is would you take a loan out to buy a new boat today or save up for it over a period of years and then pay cash for the boat? Most will want the item today and not wait.

Never get married. Keep em long enough until they can’t take your money.

wait 30 seconds instead of 30 years to admit you made a mistake that cost you the best job you had in your life. After 30 seconds apologize and accept the consequences doing what it takes to regain the trust of your emplyer.

Don’t be afraid to take a chance, but also don’t be too stubborn to move on from bad choices.

Don’t let the girl you loved in high school get away when you join the navy. Spend more time doing stuff you want to do and not doing stuff you thought you had to do.

How true. I was once told by a friend who had just gone through management training classes......after voicing my opinion about them piling more work on me.....they were taught to give your best employees more to do than they can handle because they will find a way to get it done. Sort of a backhanded compliment

Don't start smoking, start saving, get a good education or trade. Don't be afraid to take a chance once in awhile. Allow others to be wrong as you will be wrong real soon and the Golden Rule.
