    Hyco?

Hey can some tell me if Hyco is still discharging hot water? I know they stopped in 2015 or so. Was wondering if they ever started back.

Hyco has never stopped discharging hot water. Depending on what units are running will determine whether or not hot water is coming out.

Still discharges. Not as warm as it used to be. Newer cooling system cools the water before it goes back in

It's nor worth the drive or the $25.00 fee to fish it.

So is the water still warmer around the hot hole? It has been 10 or more years since I was there so honestly asking a serious question.

Right now it’s about 6-7 degrees warmer than the rest of the lake. But only in the bay, right around the discharge. Water cools much quicker as you move out of the bay compared to 10 yrs ago.
