    Power Pole pumps waterproof?

Upgrading to all Lithiums and was going to spray down the bilge area to clean it (power purple or simple green). Can the pumps handle a spray down, or should I remove them?

They are water resistant not water proof . I'd put a baggie over the motor just to be safe .

The pumps can handle a light spray down.

On the older CM1.0 Power Poles like you have, the membrane area where the buttons are located on the top of the pump can possibly allow moisture to seep underneath and cause an issue over time such as a bad cap or board failure. I would suggest to not hammer this area with water.

If the reservoir caps are cracked you may want to stay clear of this area as well so that you do not get water into the reservoir.

The rest is fine to clean as you have noted.
