My 1992 Mercury 150 HP, carb came with 14 1/2 X 23P prop on it . Will a 13 1/4 Dia prop work on this motor or, is it to small of a Dia ?

Both 3 blades? I'm not a fan of any 3 blade under 14 in. And nothing under 13 3/4 for a 4 blade for any V-6.

More important for prop diameter is load being pushed, bigger heavier boats require more surface area, more blades or larger diameter
