150 etec is a beast for a SMALL ENGINE I have heard

I have a 2017 with a G2 and it has been a great engine. Hole shot is always good regardless of weight, almost instant with just one person in the boat, it will run 60 light in ideal conditions and mid 50's with two guys and tournament load. With the exception of BRP shutting down Evinrude I would say with confidence that there is not a better 150hp motor for this hull.
The boat fishes excellent, it is very stable and rides and handles very well. It will not have the best ride in really big water but if you drive the boat sensibly it will always get you where you want to be, and I have never felt unsafe. I fish shallow in slop and docks when I can so it is the right size boat for me as I can get in and out of some shallower and tighter areas.

518 runs better with a 200
Everything runs better with more power. Older 518's had a 150 rating, 518C had 200.
My 98 is rated for a 200
It's only rated for a 150, called Ranger and they will not change the tag. thanks guy's getting a deal I can't turn down.
