I am currently using an Expride 6’10 ML as my “do it all” finesse rod. I don’t fish the drop shot or Ned rig much any more. I more often than not have a 1/8 ounce Coolbaits underspin or 1/16 Okishira head w/Spark Shad tied on. I want one rod for all the light stuff. Would the 901 be that rod to throw the swimbaits, spybaits, little tubes, drop shot and Ned’s?
I use the IMX Pro version of the 901 for the same baits.
Personally I would look at the 902 for what you want to do
902 is what I have been using.
I'm in agreement in the 902, a 901 is just a touch light.
Too light even for throwing lures less than 3/16? A 1/8 ounce underspin is tied on a lot. I already have a 852s.
