    charger issue

    I have a three bank Cabela's charger that has worked fine for 5 or 6 years. I plugged it in today and lights started randomly blinking at a rapid rate. I unplugged it so nothing would happen. Is it toast or something that can be fixed?

    You either have a bad connection on the battery lead, a blown fuse on the lead or a bad battery. Check the battery voltage with a meter.

    Checked everything out, volt meter, connections, tightened all battery connections, and still acting funny. Finally checked the 120v plug. There was a small amount of corrosion on one of the legs where the wire is connected. Replaced the plug and everything works as it should.
