    Sport master

Any one ever run a sport master on a 22’er?

Had an 07 2200 with a 300xs sport master 1:75 gears. It was and 85-87 mph boat. It drove, handled, and performed well. Don’t remember having any complaints.

also had a 08 2100 300xs sport master with 1:62 gears. That thing was a beast on the top end. If you fish with a load more than not I’d recommend the 1:75 gears if you have the option.

I have 2200 dc Gambler with 300x and sport master with 1.75 gears. Absolutely love it. It’s a beast and fun to drive,

I also have the 300x which has got issues. Thinking about giving up on it and going to a 300R. I really don’t want to go to a 4 stroke but may have to.

Are you guys mostly fun fishing with those 300's? I wanted to order my new Gambler with a 300, but decided not to because of HP restrictions in most of the bigger tourneys up here. I'd love to hang a 300R off the back of my new 22'er.

I only fun fish. I’m 75 years old and should have a jon boat with a electric motor but after 15 years of APBA I’ve still got the speed deal going.
