Anyone have any tips on keeping an Atlas hydraulic Jackplate clean and shiny? Hard to keep that scum line off it by just wiping it down after getting the boat out of the water.

I use mothers metal polish every time I notice it getting foggy on my slide master.

I see some other stuff that says “Etching” on a different bottle, but it’s around $50 a bottle everywhere I see it online.

It has to be the "etching" type. Impossible to find it here in Canada as i believe because of its acidic composition, Health Canada won't allow it
