Sounds like your transducer is not properly angled. You need to post a screenshot of what you see on your Lowrance, and also of how your transducer is mounted for us to be able to help you.

Mine wil do that sometimes when I pull it out of the water without stopping or turning off. Stableview will flatten out the bottom. Or, as Marc said, you may have angle off by a notch.

A simple test for the AT transducer angle being correct is turn on auto and see what screen comes up. If you have it set for forward and in auto it shows down you then have your answer. Do this on the water with your TM or pole deployed.
it was the stable view. Was not on on that unit. duh.
