Water strainers in an 82' Mercury BM 150hp?

While in the FAQ section, i saw mention of checking your strainers on later versions of mercury motors.

Does a 1982 Mercury BM 150hp sn# 6101202 have such a strainer?

If so, where is it located relative to the poppet valve assembly?
