I wonder if they have a deal on a 106 without the gt 54 transducer. The one advertised at $1000.00 comes with a transducer. I want the 106 for livescope.

Nah, they don’t do that. Makes no sense but it is what they do. Great deal at $999 or even less if you’re a club member.

This Thanksgiving however I will be grateful that I’ve seized these deals last year and don’t have to get into that mess again! ;)

What is the club member deal? Sign up for their credit card? I would like to do that but I’m not camping out the night before to maybe get one lol. Hopefully it’s online too.

The Club deal has worked well for me. There's two parts to it. Yes it means getting their credit card. As you use the card for various purposes, you build points. Purchases at BPS and Cabelas can get extra points during a promotion. Then at various times a 10% discount is offered if purchased using the Club credit card. Also gift cards are currently being offered at 10% off.

I called Cabelas customer service and was told the 106sv would be available online. You will need to be a bass Pro/Cabelas member and use their credit card to get the members deal of $899.97. Otherwise its $999.97.

Is it likely too late to sign up for the credit card? Or can I use it digitally as soon as I am approved? Prob takes 7-10 business days to get it in the mail.

According to Cabelas support if you wait to apply for the card when you purchase the graph you will be able to use it right away. Alternatively they said you can call Capital One after getting card approval and they will provide you the digital card information (number, expiration, code, etc) so you can use it online.

Thank you. I applied for the card and was able to add it to my PayPal wallet. Now working on adding it to my Apple wallet so I can buy in person if necessary.

I spoke with the local BP and they wouldn’t tell me how many 106’s they had on hand but he said not many. I’m thinking this will be a giant waste of time to try to go get one. He also said he expected 200+ people to be lined up before they open.

Same 106 sale threads as last year, I decided to skip instore black friday shopping and instead woke up at 1am, logged into cabelas.com from my phone, ordered 2 x 106’s and went back to bed 5 minutes later…both units on my doorstep 2 days later. Cabelas/BPS did those poor saps who waited in line all night dirty….

I suspect it will be more of the same this year, they’re not going to turn away customers willing to spend a thousand dollars just because they are shopping online vs in store…They could careless if you waited in line all night and then didnt get a 106, in the 10 minutes you argue it at the customer service desk they sold another 5,000 units online…

basspro support told me the following

The items that specifically say "Starting Black Friday" will only be available in stores. The remaining items will be available online and in stores while supplies last.

that would make the 106 in-store only according to the flyer

you could just buy it at west marine
