    Lowrance App to Live units

Can you mirror the phone to the Live units? Instead of the Live to the phone.....

The shade relief is great on the app but I can't get it on my units.

The C-map is not good for the area I fish (not much detail).

If you do not need sound, there is another cheap option to do it wirelessly. This adapter will work using a screen mirroring app from your phone.
Pretty simple. Plugs into the USB and HDMI on the back of the Live. I use it mostly to mirror Google Earth to the Live. Works with my Android, not sure if it will with Apple.

Assuming your HDS Live is a 12 or 16, yes you can. It is even described in your manual. ;) You can download the manual from lowrance.com.

    FYI:
Some mobile phone models don't support HDMI-over-USB. Check with your phone company's support.

I tried this, it works well enough for watching tv from your phone to watch a game or something like that, but does not provide any on screen interaction, so for instance if you wanted to use it to bring up google maps from your phone, you can't navigate the screen or anything from the HDS - you still have to do that on the source ie your phone. (unless I was doing something wrong). For me it wasn't that useful, but if all you want is to watch tv then yeah it works fine.
