    Adams Landing

    anyone know if Adam's landing on spillway side is still open to public and / or if the launches are in good shape? Thanks

    Spillway side is still open last time I passed there. As far as the launches and parking area it wasn't worth it to me to launch and park there. Haven't launched at Adams in years. Doiron's and the public landing is 5-10 minutes away north and south of Adams.

    Belle river side is all fenced in and now someone’s front yard…. Last time I looked at spillway side, you’d need 4wd, lift kit, and mud grips to launch… i just launched at belle river and enjoyed the boat ride..

    Launched there in September. Doesn't get much traffic so I didn't have any issues.

    I like to fish further down so launch at Doiron's and they have non-ethanol gas. You can launch either side there, spillway or basin. Plus if you launch there it's pretty easy to head down the Atchafalaya if you choose.
