    Circuit breaker/ fuse for 06 198

Can anyone tell me where to buy the circuit breakers behind the rubber buttons? My bilge stopped working and no light comes on the rocker switch.

Not sure where to buy the circuit breakers, but are you sure it's defective?

New Wire Marine has them. I assume you tried to reset it? Check for voltage on both terminals. If you have volts there, check for12v leaving the switch. Thinking it's a brown wire possibly with a trace color. If you have volts there, sounds like your pump is bad. If memory serves me, the breaker should be a 5A. The rating will be inked on the side. You really don't see them fail that often.

I just had an issue with a pump not working. I checked the breaker and it was not tripped. I pulled the circuit breaker panel out and one of the wires on that pump breaker had a broken spade on the connection. I replaced the spade and all fixed. Something to look at.

Thanks. I would try anything other than pulling those batteries out to get to that pump

On my 06 198 I only have to pull the oil tank and remove 2 screws to get to the bilge. 2 batteries on port and cranking battery on starboard side.

My design is the same as Ronnie's. Plus, lithiums make the process much easier.

Does anyone know of a place that still offers the old style rule bilge pumps? I don’t think these pumps were ever changed, so they lasted since 2006!

I believe they updated everything around 2010 or after.
