    water pressure gauge

    Water pressure guage gets what I think is "air locked"?
    If I pull the hose off and stick it back on, it will work....for a trip.

    tip or tricks?

    Pull the hoses off at the gauge and motor, wrap some paper towels on the gauge end of the hose and blow some air thru the engine side and blow the shemegma out or the hose.

    ++ to ChampionMan. The water pressure gauge works as the same function as a speedometer using a pitot tube on the transom.

    I had my Water pressure gauge giving me trouble this year too, I ended up replacing the gauge, but was still having issues.

    I found a crack in the hose, the crack was in the engine sock in the back splash well area.

    I replaced the hose, good to go
