I just installed mine the last couple of weekends. I couldn't get away with that color here in Texas, The police here frown on any color other than Red or yellow showing. In my case. it was too late. I found blisters on the hull along the length of my two center bunks. Going to be an expensive repair. Lesson learned.

Well I see you mounted the spare tire. That post extension I made really makes stepping over the bow a lot safer (I'm 80). Since I'm being critical, if that was my rig and those aluminum fenders are as thin as most I've seen, I'd bolt another aluminum or steel plate to the bottom of the tops before I'd put my weight (280#) on them.

I'm no expert. I'm being told its from sitting on wet carpet. The carpet never dries out and causes the blisters. I intended to replace the carpet with Gatorbak 4 years ago, but procrastinated until the boards needed to be replaced. It looks like that decision is going to cost me a lot of $$.

As I understand, yes. It allows the water to drain and the bunks to dry, which avoids the issue with the hull being in contact with waterlogged bunk carpet....

Gatorbak profile keeps water from resting against the hull.

    Example of osmotic blistering:
