I will take some calls if it holds 90. It doesn’t look like a terrible report

Disney is resilient, but they were getting pretty fat, diet time.

Are you aware the parks are packed to capacity nearly every day, turning people away?
The profitability is there, it's just not as robust in respect to streaming, movie releases, etc.
Disney is fine. The market demands growth & dividends, always. Fundamentals are solid.

Wow…worst decline in Disney stock in 30yrs! If tomorrow’s CPI numbers turn the market sour, then it might fall even further. Its close to the stock price when the market tanked in 2020 due to Covid. Need to fire Chapek now.

I remember buying it at 85 back then and selling it around 160 later. They took on a lot of debt and cut the dividend. They are probably in for a very long road to recovery.

I remember 2 quarters ago they were hinting of reinstating the Dividend.

I will admit though that I will start a position if it drops under 75.00. If the chants get louder to fire Chapek, then I’m a buyin.

Disney will adjust, they're not going away. The cinema and streaming division will be revamped, or split away, to fix it.
And they're going to tweak things at ABC, ESPN, etc. to bring additional net revenue. They're very diverse, be patient.

The issue with streaming is there are alot of players. Comcast, Apple, Amazon, Netflix, Goggle and they are all creating their own content. The streaming wars remind me of the 2000 dot com bust. There were all these players on the new frontier but only a few made it. Disney is not going anywhere but I'm not sure they are going to be a leader in streaming. I could be wrong but it is the Wild West out there now.

Disney owns Hulu ... #1 in streaming with LiveTV.
Along with ABC and ESPN, Disney has a serious leg up.
Not sure they need to do more than tweak and wait.
There's going to more destruction upcoming.

There's always a scapegoat. Chapek made errors, as Iger and others past.
Changing the sheets is always important after a weekend of heavy activity.
As noted previously, Disney will be fine. They are very unique and diverse.
