What is the difference between fuel rail design for the 2.5L optimax

    My engine is ot737856
the starboard rail needs replacement. The surface of the tracker valve is messed up.
My current stbd rail is 859517-12 02171 042
my neighbors rail that he is giving to me for free is
    859517 00161 141
are these compatible with my engine? What do all of these numbers mean?
If these rails are not compatible with my engine which which numbers are?
thanks so much with my $800 opi rebuild.
Turns out compression was all good on it… So I’ll be ordering from Don very soon

Jay- those are internal production numbers, not actual part numbers. The "codes" you see are date codes and production runs (the -12 I suspect is a revision number).

That casting should be able to be used in place of your Starboard rail.
