    prop

I have a 60 HP Mercury 4 Stroke 2012 year with a #1C196670. Thinking of going to a SS prop. What should I know or look for for when I search for this? Nothing special just what might be a stock prop. Thanks.

There really is no "stock prop" for this engine, as the engine is shipped out without a propeller. Propeller is selected during the rigging process.

Good idea to know all your boat specifics, weight, and exact (current) performance data. That, combined with the current prop information can be used with the Mercury Prop Calculator to help obtain suggestions for suitable propellers.
