    Wood Pellet Flavor?

    I'm new to wood pellets grills but have been cooking on charcoal for years. I do like the conveniences of pellet grill but ultimately, it's about the taste. Are there any pellets that will give a charcoal flavor? I used apple for doing ribs. They turned out great but I'll miss the charcoal flavor.

    Pit boss has a charcoal blend wood pellet. I bought some but haven't used them yet.

    Camp Chef makes some too. I mix them 30% Charcoal and 70% Hickory and love the flavor

    Crappie fish fry. It don't taste any better.
