Went there last Monday and put in at Porum. Ramps were ok to launch but need to be careful in some areas. Water temp was 70-71 and fishing was fair. Caught some but nothing over 2lbs. Great day to be on the water.

Headed there for the lawter, haven’t been on it when it’s this low. Curious as to what things look like.

Got down last iight for lawter. Woke up this morning and said nope. Not going out with the wind and temps. Not first thing anyway hahahaha. Gonna go get some breakfast and then gear up for this crap. I’ve seen this lake 7.5 low, but even at 5.0, you really need to watch where the timber lines are. Wood is a bigger problem imo than rock. Stay wide no rock issues unless north or south

Porum or Longtown are the two areas you hear about most.

Those are the two areas I fish the most. Mostly cause you can get out of the wind! I use to fish eufaula all the time when I lived in Tulsa, but now I’m up in Ponca city and it’s a little bit of a drive!

Unless you know where the channel is in the Porum Landing area(Dutchess Creek) north of the Texanna Road bridge, you better just idle around or you WILL hit a sunken tree or run aground, even when the lake is normal level, let alone where it is now.Lots of good fish up there, but boat hazards galore.
