The first batch is ready to go all that is left is for me to make the direction sheet and find out what the shipping cost will be via USPS. I haven't been able to work on anything this week....we're dealing with a terminal diagnosis for my younger daughter's Australian Sheppard that just turned 13. She passed out Sunday night and 2 long days later she was diagnosed with a tumor attached to her heart. I don't like sharing my personal business out on the forums, but this has been terrible!! I'll get back to you as soon as I have a chance to get the directions ready.

    Ron,
Thank you for all your work on this. So sorry to hear about your daughters dog, they really do become part of our families. Our Annabelle is 18 years old.
I'm interested in the lift assist for a 52" Ultrex. Any idea on when these may be able to ship?
    Thanks!

The first lot of kits headed for their respective homes across the country yesterday and I'm already working on the next group. I should have about 20 or so ready to ship before Christmas.

Neither, sell that thing and buy a Ghost! It would be neat if you could put on a push pull actuator that would automatically deploy and stow.

And the purpose of your post?
Ghost would have same weight issues with attachments.
Oh you want self stow and deploy, Minn Kota already makes it. :)

Thanks Smartass! The contribution was to have a self stow and deploy on a motor like an Ultrex or a Ghost, something with a shock absorber already in there. A push Pull actuator would do that. Minn Kota does make a stow and deploy model Ulterra but it looks funny and you cannot retrofit anything, you have to buy all new motor!.

No, ironically, YOU made a "smartass" post which was OBVIOUSLY intended to diss the Ultrex.... therefore insulting folks who own an Ultrex. You posted this in a thread totally comprised of Ultrex owners and in a thread that has nothing to do with a Lowrance Ghost. Those are the facts......

.....,I agree with the actuator comment......100%

I have to add this, Ron is spending his hard earned money and valuable time to solve an issue with the Ultrex. This is his thread (primarily to test demand/take orders) and, as he's trying to help we Ultrex owners who are tired of doing curls 10 to 20 times a day, it'd be nice to keep the thread clear of clutter.

Mine's on the way and I can't wait to receive and install it.

    Thank you....👍

I really think stretch was just just trying to be cute and didn't meant any harm. His point about the actuated lift (as I understand it) is a great one......maybe Ron will tackle that next (btw, the strut is great!).....😉
