    Back to Golfing and Fishing

3 months after breaking my big toe and surgery to set pins in the broken chip, I returned to golf Wednesday. My wife and I played 9 holes and ate dinner outside at the new club. Nice setting. Birdied the second hole with a 6 iron to a foot from 165. I need to return to full form but I was pleased with my swing and early results on the club.
Then fished Thursday at Lake Fork with my fishing club. Took 3rd so not too bad of a start on my return to golfing and fishing. I will get better with some more reps at each. I really missed golf and fishing. It is a reminder to me to be outdoors as much as possible as life and good health are short. I do love being outdoors, especially with the wife and friends!Birdies and Big Fish make it even better!I am still working on the big fish!
