Does anyone make a 14" tire load range D --- that's not an ST tire?

Those are small diameter compared to most bassboat tires. Narrow too.

I have had these on my tandem axle trailer for the last 5 years and they have wore good and no problems at all. They were about half this price when I bought mine.

Had to read twice as the ST on these means "Standard Touring" not special trailer.
They don't show a load range just a max wt which is about in the middle for most 14" tires.
The selection seems very limited for 14" wheels.
May have to try these as I'm getting tired of replacing "trailer Tires every few years at $150.00 each.
At least these have a good wear rating.

Exactly what I'm putting on my tandem trailer at next tire change. I am thoroughly convinced that the Special Trailer (ST) designation is more gimmick than substance. Too many boat/trailer manufacturers have gone to low profile light truck tires to think otherwise. My assumption is they would not assume the liability if they were unsafe.

Are your leaf springs sagging? If you have to replace tires that often it may not be the tire thats the issue? Just offering another possibility.

No sir this is a new rig and I had the same issues with last two rigs... I tow a lot more miles than the average weekend fisherman. My closest tournament lake is 420 miles one way.
After some research I've found several things about most ST-- Special Trailer tires
They're not made to last.. There's a reason they don't carry a wear rating. By their own admission 10,000 is about the life of a set.

How Long Do Trailer Tires Last?
Trailer tires should last for between 5,000 and 12,000 miles or about 8,000 to 19,000 km. Other than the mileage, you can look at how long you’ve been using them to determine when a replacement is due. If you opt to track it this way, you should change them every 3 to 6 years depending on how often and how intensely you use them.

If you travel that much, I would consider upgrading to 15” wheels and finding some good LT truck tires.

Agreed with leonreno. I changed my wheels and tires to 15”, 80lb capacity Carlisle brand. I run 45lbs in the tires and there is no sidewall sag under full load. I know, Carlisle does not have a good reputation but spite that I have had great service with the 80lb tires, not good with the 40lb tires. I went through 7 tires picking the only ones that ran true and balanced easy when purchased, some are terrible others are spot on. Good luck Mike!

I've been looking into the 15" route as the selection is much larger.
Just hate to let go of that much money at once.
However-------- If the 15" LT tires will last 3-4 times longer than the ST tire it will pay for a set of rims really quick.

For me ---- It's because it's still a "Special Trailer" tire with no wear rating that will probably last less than 12K miles.

I have actually contacted Michelin asking them to offer a load range D 14 inch tire for us. They sounded interested as I told them they were missing in the market. Haven’t heard back lol
