    High speed water intake.

I figured out today that there is away to keep a dry live wells. If needed. Stop water from coming in when running. I was checking-messing around with the water level in the wells. I noticed a shutoff valve on the intake tube. I turned it off and ran at a decent speed no water coming in. I will plug the wells, turn off the valve and I’m thinking there should have no water in the well???? If the plug is tight an the valve works as designed??????? Any one else noticed the valves? One in the picture is closed.

Yes, been like that since Caymas started building them. Valve closed no water comes in, valve open water comes in.

If you want it to be dry all the time plug your overflow at the top also.

It’s a great feature. Just figured it out by accident. No need to have it dry but may one day.

Any other hidden neat stuff on my 22 CX19 I need to know?????
