    Closed cell foam

Looking for a piece of closed cell foam for under one of my compartment lids. (mice damage). Anyone know where I can buy it? Does anyone have any left over that's being used?

Here is the problem that I ran into using closed cell foam (neoprene) under my lids. I adhered it with 3M trim adhesive. When I took the boat out and the temp went up the adhesive needed to gas out and it bubbled big time. This never ended and I had to redo the job with open cell stuff. Good luck and do your research. Try a test piece and put it in the sun.
I ended up using black tool box drawer liner.

Use contact cement as the adhesive. It's solvent based so moisture, heat, cold won't affect it.

    Rookies.

Birsong or find some weldwood glue that goes UNDER rubber, these two products will dry under rubber. Regular weldwood will never dry under it. Do that and you won't have a problem with it falling off.
