Ideally when storing the boat you should put your motor all the way down and a jack plate all the way down, however if I do this the motor skeg will hit the floor. What does everybody do when storing your boat for the winter that has a jack plate?

I do exactly what you do. I just lower the tongue enough so the motor and jackplate are able to be lowered. Maybe I don’t lower the motor all the way but it seems to be perfectly vertical.
