    2022 Z20 Extra Storage

Was looking for a place to put some one off items (first aid, extra rain suits, ropes, bungies, tool kits) that were out of the way and came up with the solution below. Got these from Target and used command Velcro strips to secure them. They come in and out really easy but mainly just take the lid off to access. They fit perfectly under the removable bins in the back compartments and they are as big as the opening allows.

That’s a great idea I wouldn’t have thought of! I just have my emergency tow rope, first aid kit, and little tool kit randomly stuffed in the bilge. This is much better storage. Might be a good spot for some extra tackle too, rear weight is always better than up on the bow for performance.

I had some boxes under there in my z8, they were able to condense water inside of the boxes, i found a 1/2 in anti fatigue mat to insulate from the gelcoat/flotation foam and fixed my issue.

I hope that size works for the Z19's I just bought 2 of them. If not I guess I will find something else to use them for.

I just check the label on the containers I got. Same make as posted above but the size on mine says 22x13.9x5.5 in. and is a 24.4 Qt. container. I will try them in the boat tomorrow evening.

I just tried these in my boat and they don't work. The length and width would work but the height doesn't. I think 4" on the height would though. I should have checked before I went to Target but thats my fault.

Darn! Thanks for checking Steiny. Target has a good return policy.

Just got mine installed, fit great and love being able to clear up room and have some extra weight in the back end. Thanks!

Just remember that the area under the rear boxes will have water in it during rain or rough water. Have stored stuff in plastic boxes there in both nitros I've had. Works good, just keep everything waterproofed

Totally, now way those cheap boxes keep water out. I use them mainly just to keep loose waterproof Plano boxes in

Same, I have tools in waterproof bag, ropes, extra rain suits, removable console covers etc in these bins. I typically like to leave the back two compartments open for people who fish with me so this does a good job of cleaning those up. I have never had enough water in the boat to mess with them and also havent had them sweat/condensation issue as of yet either.
