    New place for gas gauge

My fuel gauge worked somewhat, but still not accurate. My boat CX20 pro does not have a backplate, I didn't really have a place on my dash for gauge. So I mounted it in the little glove box. Fit perfectly and easy to check and see how much gas I have. I keep my wallet and cell in there works like a charm for me.

    Pretty simple.
Pink wire that goes to Caymas gauge is sensor wire it connects to new gauge black wire.
New gauge red wire hooks to purple wire that is switched + under console now.
New gauge blue wire goes to ground
New gauge has a red or yellow light using orange or yellow wire, your choice on what color you want. It gets hooked with the power wire.
KUS Gauge is like $28 on Amazon. Easy install

    Thank you. Seems easy enough.
I thought the fuel reading was working fine on my boat until this weekend when it started reading 0 to 40% randomly. I know i had at least 30 gallons in the tank.

Great info, quick question, is there a specific part number for the KUS gage?

I don't think . on amazon KUS 240-33ohm. honestly any 240-33 ohm gauge should work. Reading online I found the sensor in the Caymas tank is KUS.

Wow, great post. I always assumed the problem had to do with the sender in the tank, but if it is truly the gauge not working well this is awesome. Will be installing one.

Did you disconnect the Pink wire from the existing gauge or can you leave it hooked up and just tap into it?

I use the same kus fuel gauge. No issues after over a month of use. I disconnected the pink wire from the existing gauge.
