So I had a couple days off work, fished Thursday morning till the wind blow me off the water. It was a good morning with a jig, and a few with a jerkbait, nothing on top water in the morning though. Fished the same lake on Saturday with my dad and had a better morning! Than above 11:30am caught a 6.08lb!!!! Unfortunately it was a catfish Lol….. I didn’t put that it was a catfish in the title because that way more people would look at the post :-)
went to prairie rose this morning and smashed them on a square bale crank bait! Probably 30+ a few were 2 1/2lb but most were 14” water temps running 58* ish. I’m wondering what this Arctic blast early this week will do for the fishing next weekend? I think I’ll focus on big fish water the rest of the year.
