    Killing the ocean now

I hope someone figures out when you kill every aquatic piece of grass that used to filter the water this will happen. That poison is killing everything. They love to say it is the amount people moving to Florida. I say look at the time line when FWC put a war out on the grass.

Yes they have been for many years. But even back then you would still be able to find something. It was nothing like it is today.

It's been killing the reefs for years. And they just can't figure out why...

FWC and swfwmd are a absolute joke.

This cannot be said often enough. They spray mostly because they have a budget to spray. I fish several WMA lakes that allow nothing but fishing. No swimming, no skiing, no jet skis, nothing but fishing and they are all "no wake", if they even allow you to run an ICE motor. Some don't. FWC nukes them all several times a year. Why? No one, including the marine biologist that manages them, knows. They kill all the emerging vegetation where fry would hide. It is truly infuriating.

You are correct but it has been dialed to 11 compared to 40 years ago. I too remember them spraying back when I was a kid but it is nothing like what they do today. Also, there were plenty of lakes/rivers back then that didn't get sprayed at all because nobody lived on them. Simply not the case today.

Yep ... Eagle Lake. I'm sure it's a good healthy occupation, stuff is safe.
