Evidently it was a local to Kentucky Lake that is a hammer in the BFL’s. He will pay the price for a dumb decision. There is a reason paddlefish and their eggs are protected, and harvesting both can cost you big time.
Two guys, both from Kentucky. Caught poaching and selling paddlefish roe in Mississippi. Both sentenced to prison time plus serious fines.
6 months prison, 3 additional years of supervised release.
The link provided shows no prison time for Harrell. 5 years probation, $7500 fine, 5 year Mississippi fishing ban, and 5 year roe harvesting ban in any state.
Wow! Fished with Freeman as a co one time. He won the TBF National Championship a few years back.

Lance is a super nice kid from a GREAT background of his family, i have known his uncles and dad for years, just a great family known for being great fisherman especially on Barkley. He made a mistake that's going to haunt him for a long time.

Podcast was 3 THREE days after his sentence. He shows ZERO remorse and talks on and on how he wants to be a role model to kids. He is a walking Joke.
Not even a tiny bit. Should be banned from all wildlife activities in all states for life after paying 10 times the sort of ameliorating the damage he did to the population.
