    GT36UHD+GT8HW screen shots

Finally figured out how to transfer shots from the SD card to my iPad. Spent several days dialing in settings and eliminating Jack plate straight line interference. Still have some surface air bubbles not sure if I can improve on that. But I’m really happy with All three options 2D, DV, SV. Garmin replaced my GT36 and the new transducer seems excellent.

Straight line Interference off the Atlas plate. Sorry this first pic was before I figured out how to do internal screen shots. These images are off the SD card.

Thanks! The fish shadows are easy to see also. It picks up Bluegill beds easy also. There’s not much that can hide from this stuff. I had Lowrance Gen 2 stuff before the new Garmin’s and there’s no comparison. The Garmin user interface is easy to use and navigate through settings.

That palette works well on the Di but I don't care for it on the Si.

It really makes hard bottom areas pop, though. I like seeing guys use something other than amber. I don't spend enough time playing with palettes

You can split screen and have up to three versions running at the same time. Best to only have two versions running to have the biggest screen for both. I have two 126’s up front so I can run full screens or combos on each depending on what I want to see. Old eyes so I generally run mostly one version on each for the biggest screen possible. DV is just a different version of traditional 2D and shows details better. Running DV and 2D on a split screen will help you understand 2D interpretation.

How did you get rid of the straight line interference and where do you have the Transducer mounted on the atlas jack plate.
I plan on installing mine on a atlas jack plate sometime this week. Thanks
