Bass Pro Shops makes a very good “fat” 2 3/4” tube. I’ve used it with great success on smallmouths for the past 10 years. Very good selection of colors, too.

For me, I like the softer tubes, as they just seem to fish differently than tubes made of a more rigid plastic. The softer tubes may not last as long as the ones made from firmer plastic, but I honestly feel like I get more bites when fishing softer plastic tubes. Some of my favorite brands are ISG, Poor Boys and Strike King Coffee Tubes.

I also think that Bass Pro makes some very good tubes. At least I have a lot of success with them.

Yep i use to use both the tender tube & the magnum flipping tubes regularly & they were some good tubes. I've won a bunch of tournaments on them. Now i make my own.

What a great website. Tons of GREAT colors. What are your go to colors from this company and which tubes do you prefer, pro model or the finesse tubes?

Folks, some great suggestions from companies I have never heard of that carry GREAT colors and sizes.

So the follow up question to the preferred tubes, is what is everyone's preferred tube head and line tie direction??

Are you guys rigging these on a tube jighead with an exposed hook? I've tried the stupid tube route and I have missed some fish on those. These is so much bulk compared to the available throat of the hook that I don't get a great positive hook set. I would assume with a small tube, say 2.5", you have to rig those with an exposed hook but curious how you guys do it.

I use them all but in my area, the laminate tubes are my go to. Summer Craw and NB Craw in 2.75 and 3.5
Robert Shue is the owner and a great guy. He will be glad to talk with you by phone or email and let you know what sizes, colors, etc work in your neck of the woods.

BB71, I only fish tubes on an exposed hook jig head. That really is my go to, as I fish a ton of open water and rocky bottom waters. I think there are LOTS of folks that fish the stupid tube around cover, flipping, pitching. Just not my thing when fishing tubes.
