I just use some GoreTex rain gear that I got from Cabela's. I road for several hours in all levels of rain including about 45 minutes of down pour. Used a neck gator to close up the collar. Only thing that was wet was the bottom of my pants that were below the leg cuff of my bibs. It really depends if you are looking for something for touring and you have a destination regardless of weather or if you just want something to help keep you fairly dry to get home when you get caught offguard.

My wife and I use the Tourmaster Sentry Jacket and pants. They have kept us dry during a multiple hours ride in a heavy rain.

What ever you buy look and see where the zipper stops. If it stops at the Adams Apple put it back. Rain will run right down your chest. The zipper needs to stop somewhere around your chin, for a snorkel, so it will go inside the helmet. I wear the goretex Pac Lite from Cabelas. I just looked and didnt see the pants listed for this year..
