    cool hub to vortex swap

Hey guys, let me preface this with I really did try to go through the forum search as well as countless google searches and try to figure this out on my own. I wanna switch my 06 dual axle ranger trailer to the Vortex hubs from the TDE cool hubs. Does anyone have part numbers for the following?

-Spindles (I need to replace one spindle)
    -hub assemblies
    -hub assemblies with rotors

Went through this with my 2006 trailer not to long ago.

Call and order from Ranger would be my recommendation.

Mine came as full assemblies with spindles.

Fair warning, Vortex had a batch of bad caps (problem fixed but old stock might still be out there). Not a big deal, just something to be aware of.

To avoid potential down time, do this first before any work:
Upon arrival of Vortex hubs unscrew the caps. If they unscrew and thread back on like normal, your good. If they act cross threaded, wont thread back on, or are very difficult to get off, file a warranty claim with Dexter. They might ask for pictures of hub cap and receipt.

If your cool hub caps are the same thread on style, test them on the Vortex Hubs and keep them as spares. They can also be used temporarily while you wait for the new caps.

I have the aluminum trailer so your trailer might be different but things went much more smoothly after dropping the whole axle. Took me around 4 hrs to do the whole job.

Just updating this post in case some people were following for an answer. I finally switched my cool hubs to vortex hubs this weekend. I ordered the following back in December from Trailer Parts Superstore but didn't get around to installing till now: TIEDOWN 1-3/8" x1-1/16", 5 on 4.5" Stud GalvXL VORTEX Kit #81013
Fit was perfect and the rotors worked with the hubs too. Total cost was $460usd for all 4
