Today I trolled around a local lake and set about 25 waypoints.
Some of them displayed as a colored circle with the WP### label beside them.
Others were displayed as a smaller black circle with a white dot in the middle but no label beside them.
This was with a Helix 9 G3 and the waypoints were created with the "GoTo" button on the front panel.
Why were two different type waypoints created?
Waypoints with no names and different icons are those that are close to each other when using Waypoint Declutter. If you zoom in to those, they will be the same as the others.
If you want your screen covered with icons and names for all of them, turn that off.
