Hello All, I have access to a replacement aluminum screw in type vortex hub .
If you are interested I will be taking preorders. I have to sell a minimum of 15 sets
they will be $150 a set. you wont have to replace them again unless you crush them.
6-8 week lead time unfortunately.

You say it screws in ----How hard is it to put threads in the hub?

TDE Vortex hubs ARE threaded. They use plastic threaded caps from factory.

I do not get why so many people have trouble with the plastic caps. After saying that I will switch over to metal when and if my break or strip.

Check out the Nitro Forum. Everything you need to know about the hub/cover issues. There are two different hubs/caps with different threads. Mine had cracked plastic caps all replaced by the dealer with the new metal caps. I believe this was a Tracker Trailer issue with FDL hubs.

They are specifically for the vortex hubs the come with fiber plastic caps that crack.
2 per set?
Those caps come in 2 different sizes. Can you give a part number that they replace? I’m interested as I’ve replaced2 caps in the last year.
