    TR196 center seat/console question

Does anyone know how much room is below the center seat and the fuel tank? Thinking about mounting a center day box and wondering if there is enough room underneath to use screws??

No worries, I didn’t think there was in room and I for sure wasn’t going to take a chance. Thanks.

I had thought about velcro or 3m VHB double sided tape.

I built my step/storage out of 1/2" starboard, covered in rubber diamond plate sheet. Matched slope of back wall of box to back wall of seat base.

Mounted between seats using 2 pieces of 3/16" ss all thread running horizontal to back wall of seat base. I removed the plate that says "The Triton Fuel System..." for access.

Replaced the old solid Triton plate with louvered plate that looks better and provides some air circulation
