No water leaking anywhere. Definitely not coming out if the plug.

Filled up live wells just for the heck of It. No leaks. Holding water steady.

About to crawl up under the boat and look for cracks.

If I don’t see anything I’m going to go put the boat in the water in the morning and watch the bilge area.
I hope it's something simple and not a hull crack or something beyond a simple fix. Good luck and let us know what you find out.

    Please have a great day!

    Nailed it.

    What year is your 1980?

Plus side, Vexus seems to be just replacing the hulls now since they've been getting multiple cracked hulls. They will inspection it first to make sure no obvious sign of impact but should be an easy process for you. Sucks you'll be out of a boat prob 10-14 weeks.

You'll also get the new thicker hull too.

    I bought It in august 2020 so I’m pretty sure it’s a 2021.

Forward of the seats about 5’, port side about a foot or so from center. Not on a weld, just in a hull step or whatever it’s called.

Vexus said It wouldn’t be too long and once the warranty claim is approved, my dealer is patching It so I’ll be able to use It while waiting. Already dropped the boat off.

That's great to here at least you aren't left out of fishing while the warranty process is started.

The 2oz jar will last you pretty much forever as you want to use it sparingly.

Do you have newer thicker hull, or is this crack on the original style that's prone to it?

Yep that is where they crack every damn time I have seen it. I have had 2 hull replacement and get into the new 2022 and no issue thus far *knock on wood*. I know Vexus will take care of you its just very unfortunate.

A good friend of mine just got his Vexus last fall. He was experiencing water intrusion and the bilge kicking on periodically. Turned out it was where they had run his transducer down through the hull and it wasn't sealed completely. The marina he took it to said they have seen several of them leaking that were done this way.

FYI, boat been at the dealership 6 days. When I dropped It off I was told they “had this down to a science” and everything would be quick. Called them and they haven’t even looked at It yet.
