So how's your riding season going?

Been a slow start for me up this way. That's my fault of course. Between fishin, workin and ridin there's not much time left to the day.
Was going to try and make it to the Laconia Motorcycle Classic but the Northern Rally is the weekend before, so Time was not on my side.

How has everyone else's season gone so far? been keeping the rubber side down?

Just bought an enduro for my son. That’s about as close as I’ll get this season.

One two hr. joy ride for the wife and I. Ride the scooter to work on most days that I don't feel I am going to get rained on. Just did my 35K oil change two weekends ago. Didn't realize that it had taken me 22 months to get the last 5 thousand mile in. I had been averaging around 5K a year. We're going to have to step it up a bit. Have to say the cost of the oil change was a shock. I paid about $122.00 from Amazon for the oils and filter to change all three holes and I already had one quart of 20/50.

Ride quite a bit but it has been hot. Got stuck in some New Orleans traffic the other day and roasted . My son rides so we plan some day trips.

My goal for this year is 5,000 miles. I'm at about 2,300 so far. Rain early in the year and now heat is slowing me down. You would think that being retired I could really crank them out but it hasn't happened. Heck, when we were both working the wife and I averaged 12K a year. I guess I'm older, slower and softer.

Can't complain. I ride to the boat (100 miles round trip) to fish (1 largemouth on evening of 7/1/2022!). I ride to streams (300 miles round trip) to fish smallmouth bass (51 caught on 7/2/22). I ride to a special pond (180 miles round trip) filled with smallmouth and largemouth bass (20+ caught on 7/3/2022) and then enjoyed fireworks on the farm. Was so much fun as usual. I ride to business appointments whenever possible. Best investment for comfortable riding (besides a comfortable seat and windshield on a Harley Street Glide) is an electric jacket liner. Even use it in the late fall in Canada when trolling (too cold to cast) for muskies.

I have a 2019 StreetGlide and finally hit 5,000 miles. Hard to find the free time with kids at home, momma workin and me working between surgeries. Hope to start riding more when August rolls around.

I have finally got out to do a few charity runs and group rides. Been good so far. The last run was a good time. Charity run for wounded Veterans and we had close to 900 bikes with a state police motorcycle and helicopter escort. I have several friends gearing up for Sturgis already. I'm not doing a long ride like that anymore but would sure like to go and check it out... Looks like a fun week.

I’m starting to have some fun now that it’s warmed up a bit. Took a 100 mile round trip this morning to retrieve something I forgot last night. I wish my bike had a cruise control.

Spent a week riding at Camp Claiborne in Louisiana at the end of January. It was fun exploring the WW2 Army Camp.
