Same thing is happening on my 2018 Lynx trailer. Following.
Same problem here on my 2018 Caracal. Pulled away from the adhesive in the center of the wheel well. Almost like it was to short to begin with, and when it shrank up, it pulled away. Wonder if this might be covered under warranty?
My old 2004 Classic uses 1/8" rivets. I just replaced mine due to it starting to look old and faded. No adhesive, just rivets every 6" or so.
That is held on with sticky tape and rivets. Just get black 1/8” aluminum rivets and put them where the trim is coming loose.

Factory uses rivets now.
No rivets on mine.

My 18 Lynx had the same issue. I fixed it with pop rivets.
