Doesn't Stockton have some big smallmouth? We could go back to Okoboji, Slim caught a good one there.1546382755594.jpg

Okoboji sure was fun fishing, and that camp was fun place to stay, just not sure I can afford the trip right now, but would like to give it a try again sometime, except for that 13.95 hamburger that I didn’t even get condiments with, and drink was extra lol

Top of Iowa near Minnesota border, it’s far enough away you have to grease up them bearings on the boat trailer or they’ll burn out on way back, even in snowstorm!!!!
And that hamburger was before Covid increased the price and gas was about 2 bucks gallon or so!!!

    Expensive trip!

You plan on bass fishing or musky fishing?

Bass fishing, but you’d better hang on tight to your pole just in case one of them toothy critters decides he wants to come play!!!!

I could go either way, I would love Okoboji and the smallmouth, but would be open for Pomme as well.

Ya know, last time we were there I’m not sure we even caught a smallmouth, but we didn’t fish northern end of lake either, not sure they mess around all that grass and pads on lower part
