Trying to help a friend setup his boat. What prop to pad and prop is everyone running on a 2080 with 200hp mercury 4 stroke. What top end speeds are you seeing? Thanks in advance.

Call the plant and talk to Ryan Patterson. When I toured it in ‘20 he told me that they have a spreadsheet of all boat/motor/propeller combs. That would be a good place to start, every hull is different.
As stated above, every boat and motor are different. My 2021 2080 likes a 22 bravo 1 fs 4 blade. Runs 62 mph loaded to the gills with 2 300 pounders in it. Runs about 64 with just me and a full load with livewells empty. Never have measured prop to pad but my manual jackplate is at 3"

Not to steal the thread but I was gonna make the same post. Buddy has a new 2080 vexus with 200 mercury. Boat came with a 23 tempest and with 2 people and light gear top speed is 55.6 at 5740 rpms. He is trying to figure it out as well.
I have a 2022 2180 center console. 8 inch atlas about 3/4 up will get me to 5750 rpm. 60.3mph bravo 1 fs 23p. I’m pretty sure it’s a bit heavier than the 2080 given the extra height of sides and a slight bit longer. I’ve had several people say the hull is the same as the bass model. And that is loaded with tackle and 2 225 lb’ers.
eastenfish did you follow up with Vexus, just curious on what they said.
I have an 1880, but one thing about all these boats is similar, they like the motor a bit deeper for more bow lift.
