    Philadelphia

Going next week for business, first time there. Being a foodie I’m excited to try new flavors, so I have to ask those who know, who has the BEST Philly cheesesteaks? Also curious about pizza or any other mom n pops I should try.

Not sure if it’s the best, but you have to hit Genos and Pats and compare. If nothing else just to say you did it.

Just get the cream cheese. It's been hard to source, due to the Chi-Com Flu.
Don't bother me, I'm screwing for virginity.

Reading Terminal Market, Independence Hall, Liberty Bell, Ben Franklin’s Grave ($) are all walking distance. City Hall is not too far away if you want to run the same steps as Rocky. If you have wheels, drive to Pat’s and Geno’s just so you can say you did it. If you do not, Sonny’s Cheesesteaks near Independence Hall is as good as any other. I do not know if they use cheese whiz though. I get extra provolone. Plan to drink Pepsi too.

    Great place.

however, to me. The best Cheese Steak is at John’s Roast Pork. Also don’t sleep on the pork sandwich.

make sure to hit a South Philly Pretzel factory too

Philly has always been famous for their Snapper soup, with a touch of sherry. Usually higher end restaurants will have it. (turtle, not the fish)

OK the reality is Pats and Gino's are tourist traps and kind of MEH!
The Best 2 places to get a GOOD Cheesesteak are on South Street
    You won't be disappointed:

    1. Jim's South St.

    2.Ishkabibble’s

Best thing you can do is hunker down in your room. Philly is a dump and Philly cheese steaks are over rated. Unless you enjoy super greasy sandwiches and hot shits the next day. i just got back from there and I couldn't wait to get home. The airport is an old dump, there apparently is a shortage of road paint since half the lanes aren't marked clearly. The drivers suck balls. Only place I've experienced worse is Florida. Way too many people for this guy. But hey that's just my opinion. Hope you have a good time

This man knows his cheesesteaks. Delessandro’s is the best. Mama’s in nearby Bala Cynwyd is excellent as well. Pat’s, Geno’s, and even Jim’s, are tourist traps with awful (Pat’s and Geno’s) to mediocre (Jim’s) steaks.
