    Question 721 2 Stroke props

2016 721 pro xp, no poles 250 proxs. Runs 72 ish with a 26 fury at 6100 RPM. Tried a 26 Temptest plus and ran 63 at 5700, and the Temptest blew out really bad. Both my fury and this Temptest had half plugs in the vents. My question is what prop is best to get some top speed and a whole shot with less blow out? is there a 4 blade that will run 70's?

Drop down to a 25 Fury, 3-1/8 or so Prop to Pad. I ran a 25 for 7 years, great prop on that boat. Top speed for me was 73, but the new owner has hit 76!

I had a 721 ran a 25 and 26 fury on it. I ran the 26 most the time and able to hit 78 with a full tournament load by my self. The 26 was consistent 74-75 with two loaded.

Did the 25 perform better? Do you have much blow out when its laying over?

My 25 performs well and it’s just factory out of the box fury. Top speed I’ve seen is 78. 74-75 loaded. Great holeshot.

I thought the 26 ran the best for me if I remember right there was a little slip when it broke over but it never blew out.
