So what is your winter project for the bike ??

I have to do a clutch on my 07, but with 60,000 miles I guess it's about time. Just bought an LED bulb to try as a replacement rather than spending hundreds on a new headlight. Will see how it is once the snow melts around here.
Would like to do chrome lower legs on the Ultra as well but I just do not want to take forks apart. Had a bad experience doing that on a dirt bike when I was younger and I said I would never take forks apart again..

So what has your project been?

My project was to replace the entire bike and I did. End of December I bought a new 2021 Street Glide Special.
    Nice.
What color did you end up getting?

Thinking about putting a stage 1 kit on my Dyna, add some new slip-ons and give her a tune.

Just riding the rest of the winter. Had thumb surgery in December so it sat about 8 weeks. Back on the rode though and temperatures in the 70's today.

I traded my ‘17 Street Glide Special in on a ‘21 Black Jack Metallic Street Glide Special last year as the dealer made a truly wild offer on my 40000 mile ‘17 and knocked a bit off of the price of the new one as well. I’ve only got 6K on the new one and haven’t put too many miles on this winter but I’ve been adding and switching over some stuff from the old one to make touring more comfortable when Spring finally does arrive and the salt is finally gone from the roads here in CT.
I just added that WHIM Bypass plug so I can run apple car play through the boom system and it seems like the best $25 bucks I’ve ever spent!

The winter project was to change the fluids and wash/wax and polish the chrome. Here it is March and I have done nothing. They are calling for an Inch of snow tonight, so its difficult to get energetic over it. I'll have it done by April 1

I have a 2019 Street Glide that I sent for a custom paint job. Supposed to have it back tomorrow. I’ll post pictures later.

My winter project was full transmission and crank bearings on a Suzuki 125. The bike sat up with no oil for 4 years, so all the shafts and the bearings were seized. 20220126_053928.jpg

So totally redid my 1996 Sportster 1200. Tore it completely down, added Hammer 1275 big fin cylinders, 2006 OEM heads that I had Hammer port/ polish, new Hammer 560 cams, newest styly OEM oil pump, brass pinion gear, new lifters, pushrods, intake manifold, Mikuni HSM 42 carb, new extra plate clutch set up, new ignition, etc etc. After it's 500 mile break in ran it on the dyno hope the link works can see it running. Made 94 HP to the wheels, that was with the baffles in the Bassani pro street exhaust and a little lean on top. Ran out of main jets to play with.
