I'll never own a trolling motor without a ninja grass blade.

It works. I love to fish heavy slop and vegetation punching and frogging. Last summer at champlain I fished shallow vegetation and slop for 4 days and pulled up my trolling motor to clean it off maybe once per day. Even when the head gets balled up from slop if you turn the head sharp right or left and turn the prop it will almost always clear itself.

You should probably edit your post then. You said you would never own one.

Photo of the re-designed NGB - The cutting edge is the same as the original, however there is less top edge hanging over

Also, put the NGB next to the skeg, so if needed, a second NGB could be installed without the risk of it getting knocked of by the TM bracket when stowing the TM.

This looks less obtrusive than the "Grass Goat" that I have on my motor.

I can absolutely second this. Had this on my Ultrexx, got a Ghost and didn't buy a blade right away. Went to Champlain to punch mats and it suuuuucked. Got the blade before the next trip, went back and it was a night and day difference again. It's an absolute must have if you're fishing a lot of veggies.

I bought one of these about 3 years ago and it is the best boat accessory for the money! It is a great idea and product! I have bought another two to give away to my boat owning friends!
